On the Namibian banks of the Chobe River, just 17kms from Kasane and boasting views into the Chobe National Park sits Serondela Lodge.
The lodge takes its name from the famous picnic spot and elephant corridor which is right across the river from the Lodge.
The lodge is a 100% off the grid, eco lodge, which works in very close conjunction with the local communities, ensuring that the local communities benefit from tourism in this remote area of Namibia.
The pristine, remote location, with unprecedented access to spectacular wildlife areas provides guests with the ultimate game viewing opportunities in the Zambezi.
Serondela offers exquisite views over the Chobe River with endless photographic and wildlife experiences.
Serondela Lodge boasts 7 twin and 1 family chalet. All the chalets are free-standing and well-spaced to ensure privacy for all guests.
All rooms are on high ground on the banks of the Chobe River. The chalets
are made out of eco-sand bags that have been plastered into the walls, a environmentally friendly technique that helps to ensure better thermal insulation.
The spacious chalets each have a private viewing deck and patio, where guests can relax and observe the herds of elephants, buffaloes and impala as they graze.
The rooms have been designed to allow maximum game viewing with large sliding doors facing the river
